Official Rules for the Henkel Helps Contest and Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest and sweepstakes offered in and open to all legal residents in the 48 contiguous United States who are at least 18 years of age (excluding Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii) and will be construed according to U.S. law. Contest and Sweepstakes begin 12:01 a.m. EST on 7/3/07 and ends at 11:59 a.m. EST on 8/17/07.

How To Enter Contest: Log on to http://www.henkelhelps.com between 12:01 a.m. EST on 7/3/07 and 11: 59 a.m. EST on 8/17/07, select the contest tab and follow on-screen instructions. In case of dispute of winner identity, entry will be declared made by the registered user (meeting eligibility criteria) of the e-mail account, and prize will be awarded to the registered user. Entries must be received by and contest ends at 11:59 a.m. EST on 8/17/07. Limit one entry per person, per day. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

How To Enter Sweepstakes: There are two ways to enter: 1) Log on to www.henkelhelps.com between 12:01 a.m. EST on 7/3/07 and 11: 59 a.m. EST on 8/17/07, select the sweepstakes tab and follow on-screen instructions. Sweepstakes Prizes: One winner will be selected every week for eight weeks beginning Friday, 7/6/07 and ending Friday, 8/24/07. Winners will be selected in a random drawing by Resolve Corporation from among all eligible entries received. Each week's winner will receive a gift certificate redeemable for $200 of product from The Dial Corporation. Total Prizes ARV: $1,600. There are no cash value equivalents of prizes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per household or address. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize is not transferable.
Winners will be notified by phone, mail or e-mail. If winner is unreachable or does not make direct contact with sponsor by 9/15/07, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and another winner may be chosen. By entering the contest, entrant accepts and agrees to these rules and the decision of the judge shall be final. Winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Liability and Publicity Release and return it within 7 days of receipt or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and another winner will be chosen. Contest Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the services of a team of minimum 10 Henkel of America representatives, which will clean a specific facility, park or neighborhood in their town. Total Prize ERV: $25,000. There is no cash value equivalent for the prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per household or address. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize is not transferable.

Contest Judging Criteria/Winner Selection: A panel of five (5) judges comprised of two (2) Dial Corporation representatives, two (2) Henkel of America representatives and one (1) representative of Liggett Stashower Public Relations firm will utilize a one hundred (100) point scoring system to grade each essay based upon the following criteria: Originality of nomination thirty (40) %, Creativity of nomination thirty (30) %, Enthusiasm exhibited in essay thirty (30) %, The lowest and the highest scores will be thrown out with the other three (3) averaged together to determine a final score. In the event of a tie, the creativity element of the score will serve as the tie breaking factor. The judges will select the three (3) highest scoring essays and post these essays to Henkelhelps.com by 8/25/07. Between 8/25/07 and 8/31/07 an online public vote on Henkelhelps.com will be conducted to select the grand prize winner. The essay with the highest number of votes will be the grand prize winner.

Conditions: Winners agree that Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be indemnified and held harmless by Winners against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize. Winner assumes all liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this sweepstakes and/or contest. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes and/or contest should virus, bug or other causes beyond Sponsors control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes and/or contest. Sponsor, its affiliates and its agencies are not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmission or network connections that are human or technical in nature. E-mail entrants must have a valid e-mail address on-line. Sponsor, its affiliates and its agencies are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with it utilized in the sweepstakes and/or contest by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the sweepstakes and/or contest.
